Website services/tools
Organize Images
- Save images in their original state without altering them such as reducing the size when uploading.
- Use "my Picturetown Uploader" - an original uploader tool independently operated*2 by Adobe AIR*1 Runtime on the desktop.
- Create new albums and insert tags when uploading files. Upload additional images to existing albums.
- Directly upload from the home page after logging-in.
- Download images in their original size or select the size yourself.
- Set ratings (Favorites) and tags for images (possible to select and set multiple images).
- Set location info on maps using the drag tool*3, and set landmark info (possible to select and set multiple images).
- Display image info, and edit tags and file titles in List View etc.
- Assemble the required images and create an album. Organize albums by folder.
- Transfer images from album-to-album using the drag tool.
- Transfer images between folders using the drag tool.
- Search for images by calendar date, such as the date the image was shot or uploaded.
- Search for images by ratings and tag information.
- Specify multiple conditions when searching for images, such as date (calendar), rating and tag.
- Rearrange images according to file name, upload date, shooting date, image size, file type and rating (ascending or descending order).
- Save settings of any rearranged images*4.
- Rotate photos (clockwise or counterclockwise) and store rotation data.

*2:This will not work unless you are logged-in to My Photos from a web browser.
*3:Switch the display to Map View when setting location info.

Sharing & Viewing
- Play and share “Motion Snapshots”.
- Create and browse "PhotoMovie" - a combination of photos, music and messages.
- Share "PhotoMovie" with selected e-mail addresses.
- Share images by sending a shared album URL to selected e-mail addresses.
- Images sent by shared album can be selected in multiple sizes.*1
- 18 skin types are available to choose from when sending shared albums. It is also possible to set the shared album so that it will be initially opened in Map View by the recipient.
- Shared albums can be played back as a slideshow. Switching between Map Views is also possible (only for images with location info).
- Post to other site - Send images to Facebook, Flickr.
- Create links to blogs with automatically generated HTML code and URLs that enable my Photos images to be posted on blogs and websites.
- Choose from 4 different images displays - Grid View, List View, Single View, and Map View.
- Upload GPS log data when displaying photos in Map View.
- Share GPS log data.
- Display route and elevation information associated with GPS logs in Map View. Route information can be displayed as animations.
- Display shooting directions in Map View(only for images with electronic compass data).
- The My Photos background color can be selected from 8 different patterns. The Grid View thumbnail size can be set with a single click.
- Full-screen slideshows can be selected with varied BGM and display results.
- Full-screen image display that can instantly play slideshows without having to close the window.
- Cache generated video playback. Thumbnail video playback.*2
- Movie playback is supported by QuickTime/Windows MediaPlayer plug-ins.*2
- Login to your home page and see a random display of your saved images.
- After logging-in to your home page, your newly created albums are displayed together with direct links to all your albums.
- After logging-in to your home page, newly shared albums and PhotoMovie are displayed together with direct links to them.
- Login to your home page and access the "this time last year" tool. (images taken approximately 1 year before are automatically displayed.*3)

Posting images to other sites
- Share guest page URL on your Facebook.

- Motion Snapshot sharing and playback using a guest page URL.
