Enhanced Sharing Settings screen and sharing features!

The newly updated Sharing Settings screen works very simply. Just click the sharing conditions icon you wish to set and select the conditions for your friends and the content. In addition to sharing by email, album sharing has become even easier and more convenient with URL posting to Twitter, issuing public URLs and QR codes for shared albums (guest pages), and posting individual albums.

And to answer your desires to share photos and data even more safely, we have prepared new features such as image controls and password options as exclusive Gold Account member services. my Picturetown sharing features are being further enhanced.

Sharing and posting albums on Facebook

You can use your Facebook friends list when sharing and posting albums on Facebook. The albums you share and post on your own Facebook and your friends' Facebook pages will spread to the friends of your friends and to their Facebook pages by clicking the "Like!" button on shared albums (guest pages). The new video expression "Motion Snapshot", shot only by the Nikon 1, can also be shared and posted from Facebook shared albums (guest pages). In addition to image transfers in the past, your enjoyment in sharing albums with your friends will keep growing.

Check your sharing history from the Facebook app

Your sharing history, which could only be checked from My Photos before, can now be checked from Facebook. You can easily check when, to whom, and what albums were shared.

The exclusive Gold Account member services of password options and download controls are also supported in sharing and posting albums on Facebook, so you can be reassured that only a limited number of your friends will see your photos and the data will not be downloaded.

Motion Snapshot.

By using shared albums (guest pages), Motion Snapshot can be shared with friends who are not my Picturetown members without any special software or complicated operations. You can play Motion Snapshot simply by clicking the Play button on a shared album (guest page). Anyone can view your Motion Snapshot just by clicking Play.

The new type of imaging expression created by combining an original soundtrack, still images, and slow-motion video shot by the Nikon 1.

If you shoot Motion Snapshot, why not post them on Facebook. You will be able to share the emotion of your Motion Snapshot with even more people.

Posting photos to Twitter *

If you click the Twitter button on the Sharing Settings screen or the Tweet button on a shared album (guest page), you can post the URL of the shared album (guest page) on Twitter.

If you click the Twitter button on an image thumbnail, you can easily send a tweet with that photo made easy to view in a web browser.

* Tweets with photos are limited to still images. Movies and Motion Snapshot are not supported.

You can also post from my Picturetown Pad

If you have my Picturetown Pad, a free app for the iPad and iPhone, you can send your photos to Facebook and Twitter or send a sharing email to your friends anytime and anywhere. my Picturetown Pad also supports the internal camera on your iPad and iPhone, so your photos can be saved and shared right then and there.
