With the Nikon 1, you can play back a Motion Snapshot whenever you want.
Capture a moment as a still image while at the same time recording before and after that moment as a movie. Motion Snapshot is what allows you to enjoy memorable videos that combine slow motion and a still image along with original background music. This new video expression that can be shot by the Nikon 1 can be played back on the iPad and iPhone. Anyone can play and enjoy your Motion Snapshot from a shared album (guest page) by posting on Facebook.*1 The enjoyment of Motion Snapshot continues to spread.

Albums and folders provide flexible
photo management.
With this app, you can create albums and manage photos as you please. Sorting many photos into albums allows you to easily search for a specific photo without tedious flicking. Once you’ve uploaded many digital photos to my Picturetown, this app lets you easily manage your photos. You can even combine multiple albums into folders. You can customize your folders to suit your needs.

Create your own electronic photo collections with book view.*2
With book view, photo albums created with my Picturetown Pad can be automatically arranged as electronic photo books. Now it’s easier than ever to arrange your photos as a beautifully original photo book. Choose to display photos randomly or arrange them into albums as you like. While viewing your photos in grid view, you can use drag and drop to arrange your photos in the preferred order for book view.

Map view reveals the location of the shot and the compass bearing.
Map view displays the location of the photo. If you have photos taken with other digital camera or smartphones such as a COOLPIX AW100 that records the location data, simply upload them to my Picturetown. When you view the photos in map view, their location appears on the map. The COOLPIX AW100 also tags each photo with the compass bearing of the camera. You can also see a visual display of the camera’s bearing.

As a universal app, it’s also compatible with the iPhone.
iOS 5-compatible my Picturetown Pad can be enjoyed not only on the iPad, but also on iPhone. The ease of managing photos by albums and many features of my Picturetown are unchanged from the iPad version (*3 excluding certain features). On the iPhone, the app utilizes a special simplified interface optimized for the iPhone in the pursuit of ease-of-use. The app also supports avi- and mov-formatted movie playback which was unavailable on the previous my Picturetown iPhone app. Movies and Motion Snapshot on guest pages can also be played now.

To use my Picturetown Pad, simply register at the my Picturetown website. After downloading the app, register for a free membership at the my Picturetown website. You can start using my Picturetown Pad right away. my Picturetown offers 2GB of free storage. If you need more storage capacity, simply upgrade to a paid Gold account, which offers up to 200GB*4.

For seamless shooting, sharing and posting
Supports the high-definition camera on the iPad 2. You can launch the iPad camera with my Picturetown Pad. This allows you to immediately upload your iPad photos to Facebook or Twitter for sharing, all within the same app. This app allows seamless shooting, sharing and posting from an iPhone.
