Some of the key features of my Picturetown are introduced here below.
Features:
- Anyone can use 2 GB of space free-of-charge to store pictures.
- Storage space can be increased to 20 GB*1. (As we are currently in a trial period, you can use up to 20 GB of storage space free-of-charge. The date for transitioning into a fee-based service has yet to be determined.)
- Pictures can be uploaded without any resizing required. Pictures are stored and viewed without losing any of the inherent beauty captured at the time the photo was taken.
- Multiple photos can be uploaded at the same time using the simple and convenient Quick Upload function.
- Albums are easily edited and managed by drag & drop.
- Albums can be shared to allow viewing by family and friends. Photos can be downloaded in the original high resolution.
- E-mails can be sent directly from my Picturetown to notify others of shared albums.
- Personal albums can be easily created from photos in shared albums.
- Photos can be directly uploaded from Wi-Fi cameras*2. Photos uploaded from remote locations can be attached to e-mails, expanding the breath of applications available to users.
- Photos can be played back as slideshows with background music.
*1 Gold Account membership with 20 GB of storage space may not be available depending on your region.
*2 Uploading photos to my Picturetown from Wi-Fi cameras should only be used in the region in which they were purchased.
