You can notify others of selected albums or pictures you want them to see by e-mail, which they can easily view.
- Select the albums and images to share.
- Click on the [Share] button.
The Share Albums (Photos) window appears. - If you select only individual images, input an Album Name.
A new album is created under My Albums in the Library. - Input a recipient in To.
Input the e-mail addresses of the persons to share the album with.
Memo:
When sharing with more than one person, separate the e-mail addresses with commas. - Input a Subject.
A good idea is to identify the e-mail as a notice. - Input a Message.
This message is up to you.
Memo:
Between the Subject and Message, you can input up to 300 characters. - Click [Share location info].
Memo:
If you select [No], only the picture will be shared, and the recipient will not have access to location info. - Click the [Send] button.
As long as the information has been input correctly, a Sharing Confirmation window appears. A notice is also sent to the e-mail addresses of the recipients.
Note:
If the Sharing Confirmation window does not appear, you made a mistake inputting information. A message appears in red text, therefore read it carefully, correct the information and click on the [Send] button again. - Click on the [Close] button.
Memo:
When an album is shared, a [Mail] icon appears right of the album name in My Photos of the Library. Clicking on this icon opens the Sharing History window where you can check when and with whom the album was shared.
