After April 30, 2009, there is a monthly fee of US$2.99 on Gold Accounts with storage up to 20GB.
Additional storage can be purchased at an additional US$2.99 per month for each additional increment of 20GB up to a maximum of 200GB.
Payment is available through one of the following credit cards:

What if I want to downgrade to a Free Account?
If you would like to downgrade to a Free Account, first please be sure your account is currently using less than 2GB of storage. If you currently have more than 2GB of photos you will need to remove those photos before proceeding. You can use my Picturetown’s download feature to save your photos locally to your PC.
Once your account is using less than 2GB of storage, while logged in to your account click the Settings link from the upper right-hand corner of the site. Within the "My Account" tab change your "Account type" to "Free Account (2 GB)".
