Installing QuickTime

QuickTime is required to play back MOV videos.

If QuickTime is not already installed in your computer, install it as follows.

The following example explains installation using Internet Explorer 7 and Windows XP.

Memo:
If you are using a Mac, QuickTime was probably preinstalled, therefore you normally do not need to install it. However, if you want the most recent version of QuickTime, you can download it from the Apple website.

  1. Download QuickTime (QuickTimeInstaller.exe) from the Apple website.

  7. Click on the [Finish] button.
    This completes QuickTime installation.

Note:
Some AVI files may not play back in the browser. In such cases, download the AVI file before starting playback.
