Installing Quick Uploader (Windows)

Using Quick Uploader, you can easily upload multiple images by drag & drop operation.

To use Quick Uploader, the application must be installed as follows.

The following example explains installation using Internet Explorer 7 and Windows XP.

  1. Click on the [Upload] button on the My Photos page.
The Select Upload Method window appears.

  2. Click on the [Install] button.
    The Information Bar window appears.

  3. Click on the [Close] button in the Information Bar window.

    Note:
The Information Bar window does not appear with some computer settings. In such case, proceed to step 4.

    Memo:
Placing a checkmark in the “Don't show this message again” checkbox keeps the window from appearing again.

  4. Click on the “This website wants to install the following add-on: 'Upld_40. CAB' from 'NIKON CORPORATION'. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to install it, click here...” message in the Information Bar window.

  5. Click on [Install ActiveX Control...] in the menu that appears.
The message “Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?” appears.

  6. Click on the [OK] button.
The message “Do you want to install this software?” appears in the Internet Explorer - Security Warning windows.

  7. Check that “Upld_40.CAB” appears for the Name and “NIKON CORPORATION” for the Publisher, and click on the [Install] button.
When installation is complete, the Quick Upload window appears.
