What is the procedure when the free trial period for Gold Accounts ends? (Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia)
 

The following information only applies to members with Gold Accounts registered on or before May 24, 2009.

Gold Account Free trial members will receive an email notification with the subject heading, “ my Picturetown Gold Account free period will be ending on April 30,”
The instructions on this page begin with the URL included in the email. Check that you received this email, and perform the following registration procedure.


Note:
If you did not receive this email or deleted it you can get to step 4 by logging into your account and click on the [Payment Method Registration] button found in [Settings] at the top right of the page.



  1. Click the URL included in the email.
    The "payment Method Information" page appears.

  2. Click on the [Log In] button.
    The Log In page appears.

  3. Enter your Email ID and password, and click on [Log In].
    The Payment Method Information page appears.

  4. Select one of the following options.


    [Register Now]
    Click to continue the procedure. A page for entering member information and credit card information appears. Follow the instructions on the screen and enter the information.

  5. [Register Later]
    Click to continue the procedure later. If you decide to continue registration later, you will need to start the procedure again from step 1.

      Caution:
      If your credit card information is not registered by May 24, 2009, your account will enter a temporary suspension status. To deactivate the suspension status, click on the [Payment Method Registration] button found in [Settings] at the top right of the page and register your Gold Account member information.


    [Free]
    Click to switch to a Free Account (2 GB).
    Accounts containing more than 2GB of data can not be switched to a Free account until there is 2GB or less data. Photos and video must be deleted as necessary to meet the 2GB maximum storage for Free Accounts. It is advised to download and backup data before deleting as deleted data can not be recovered.


    If [Register Now] is selected follow steps 5 through 9 to complete registration.
    The terms and conditions for Gold members appear. Read them carefully.


  6. Read and review the terms and conditions. Click on [Proceed to Next Page] if you agree to the terms and conditions.

  7. The Member Details page appears.


  8. Enter the information requested on the screen, and click on [Next].

  9. The PAYDOLLAR PAYMENT SERVICE page appears.


  10. Confirm the contents, and click on [Continue].

  11. The credit card information entry page appears.


  12. Enter the necessary credit card information. Click on [Submit] when you finish entry.

  13. The Payment Result page appears.


  14. Click [Continue] after confirming the information entered.

  15. The Registration Successful! page appears.


  16. Click on [Back to myPicturetown].


The Gold Account Membership Upgrade Complete page appears. This completes the account change process.
